We are experts
in heating, air conditioning and ventilation for residential and
commercial customers. Our extensively trained technicians are
qualified for servicing all brands including Lennox, Trane, Tempstar,
Honeywell, Aprilaire, etc.
Our project
department is specialized in providing comfort solutions for your
home as well as commercial and industrial buildings. We offer
extended warranties, Energy Saving Service Agreements,
indoor air quality products and energy management solutions. Financing
is also available with our installation projects. Whatever the
case, we have the answer for you!
Paul Hartman
started working in the HVAC business after graduation from the
Universal Technology Institute (UTI) in 1978. After working for
different HVAC companies, Paul progressed to Senior Manager. Because
of Paul’s desire to provide customer satisfaction, his commitment
to the work, and his integrity in following through with his promises,
he decided to open his own HVAC Business where he could assure
his customers’ satisfaction and comfort.
Hartman Heating
& Air Conditioning started in 1988. Today Hartman has settled
into a Murray location, which includes Paul (the owner), his son
and daughter, and 24 other full time employees. Hartman Heating
is now a large HVAC contractor in the Salt Lake Valley, with that
same ambition and excitement!
Our team
here at Hartman Heating is known for displaying the highest level
of honesty, expertise, quality and professionalism in every part
of our customers experience. In 2004 Hartman Heating & Air
Conditioning was awarded the Top Technician Training Award for
the Intermountain Area. Therefore, you can always be certain you
will receive first class products and technicians.
HHAC has
a commitment to energy savings and management as well as environmental
issues, not only in what we provide to our customers, but also
in our own actions. Within our building we use higher efficiency
heating and cooling equipment, programmable thermostats, motion
sensors and time clocks for lighting and generally choose "Energy
Star" items.
We attempt
to optimize travel and deliveries to route vehicles via the shortest
distance. Our computerized dispatch system aids us in "grouping"
out service fleet to keep the same vehicle in the same area thus
preventing vehicles traveling criss/cross across the
valley. We also plan to utilize the service person in the location
in which they live (i.e. Summit County, Herriman, Sandy, etc.).
In the environmental
arena we have recently purchased a hybrid vehicle getting over
50 mpg for our estimators. We pay to have cardboard picked up
to recycle. We recycle all our metal, copper and aluminum. We
recover and recycle all refrigerants and have invested in refrigerant
recovery machines for all 14 service vehicles. We recover all
oils from A/C compressors and deliver them to an approved waste
oil handling facility. We collect all mercury from thermostats
to prevent it from reaching landfills and deliver it to the proper
facility.
We have a
company awareness plan to reduce consumption of expendable items.
We use permanent utensils, plates and cups in our company lunch
room and kitchen when possible.
